FAQs
How long does the ink last on paper or other surfaces after stamping?
Our stamp pad ink leaves incredibly durable impressions. The ink quickly dries after stamping on paper, leaving a mark that, in most cases, will be readable for years. It will not fade or disappear; in fact, the ink is archival-quality, which means that exposure to light or time will not cause it to fade quickly. Documents stamped with this ink will therefore remain clear over time.
How quickly does the ink dry after stamping?
Depending on the surface and the amount of ink used, the drying time of the ink is usually only a few seconds to a minute. It should be dry to the touch in less than ten seconds on regular paper. It may take a little longer on glossier surfaces (such as a glossy certificate), but it usually takes much less than a minute. When handling the stamped document soon after stamping, the short drying time helps avoid smudges.
Is the ink compatible with all types of stamp pads?
Indeed, the majority of common stamp pads available on the market are compatible with our bottle ink. This ink should absorb well and function well on felt, foam, or fabric pads. To re-ink your pad, simply add a few drops. The formula for stamp pad ink is universal. (Obviously, it works flawlessly with our Soni Officemate stamp pads, but you can also use it with pads from other brands as long as they have ink refillable designs.)
Is the ink suitable for both office and craft use?
Of course. Our stamp pad ink is a multipurpose formula that works well for both office applications (such as stamping official documents, dates, or company seals) and craft applications (such as cardmaking, scrapbooking, or decorative stamping). In either case, it gives clear, sharp impressions. The ink's consistency and vibrancy will be useful whether you're creating handmade greeting cards or stamping envelopes at work.
Is there an expiration date for the ink?
Indeed, if stored correctly, the ink bottle should last for around two years. The bottle will have the expiration date printed on it. The ink will last as long as the bottle is kept out of direct sunlight and the cap is kept tightly closed. If you keep it clean and seal it up after every use, it should remain usable for a long time even after opening.
What colors are available for the stamp pad ink?
We offer a variety of colours for our stamp pad ink. Although black is the most widely used colour due to its polished appearance, we also have blue, red, green, and violet inks available. With these choices, you can select a colour that best suits your requirements, such as blue for official documents or red for urgent stamps. Our ink's quick-drying and fade-resistant qualities are consistent across all colours.
